About this course
Highland Park is Joliet's good mix of wooded and open holes — a Gary Lewis design from 2008 with real elevation and multiple tees that provide a unique challenge for every skill level. From the standard pins it plays 5,290 feet at par 57.
Free to play with concrete tees and Mach 7 baskets, it's somewhat cart friendly and rewards both power and placement. Three pin layouts stretch the round from 4,954 to 6,362 feet depending on how ambitious you're feeling.
The wooded holes are the memorable ones — the elevation makes them play even bigger than the distances suggest.
Hole 9 is the longest at Highland Park at 425 feet — a par 4 that ties together the course's wooded and open halves with a little elevation for good measure. It's the hole where a good drive earns a real birdie look, and the one that makes the round feel complete.
