§ The lay of the land

A real disc golf town, if you beat the heat

DFW is disc golf at Texas scale. Z Boaz in Fort Worth is the legendary one — 19 holes with real elevation and the most famous hole in the state, a 755-foot par 3. Harry Myers in Rockwall is John Houck's long, varied design with three par 5s, and Veterans Park in Arlington has been a community anchor since 1988.

Fritz Park in Irving brings Delaware Creek and a pecan orchard to the table, and Tom McCutcheon in Lewisville is the friendly open course for working on distance control. All five of our published DFW courses are free.

New here? Tom McCutcheon to warm up, then Z Boaz to see what Texas distance golf really means.
