About this course
Bad Rock Creek in Stocksdale Park, Liberty, is a compact technical gem — the red tees play 3,637 feet at par 55 with a mix of short wooded holes and open stretches that wind around the mountain-bike trails. Tall-grass OB and three ponds keep every shot honest.
Free to play with concrete tees and DISCatcher baskets, with good elevation and a layout that rewards placement over power. Three tee sets stretch the course from beginner-friendly to a 10,000-foot monster for the brave.
New holes added in 2022 kept the course fresh — it's one of the most-loved rounds in the KC metro.
Hole 18 is Bad Rock's only par 4 — 433 feet with a pond in play and tall-grass OB framing the landing zone. It's the hole that sums up the course: short on the card, sneaky in person, and technical enough that par feels earned. A fitting finish for one of the KC metro's most-loved rounds.
