About this course
Water Works is Kansas City's scenic showcase — a wooded course with serious elevation changes and skyline views of downtown and the Missouri River. A brand-new layout opened here in August 2024, mixing long open holes with short, precise ones across 6,131 feet at par 56.
Free to play with concrete tees and Mach X baskets, it's the city course where the views are as memorable as the golf. Some of the elevation changes are genuinely extreme, so bring grippy shoes and a camera.
The 2024 redesign gave Kansas City a modern flagship — and the skyline backdrop makes it the best-looking round in town.
Hole 11 is the longest at Water Works at 499 feet — a par 3 that climbs with the course's biggest elevation change while the Missouri River glints below. It's the hole that defines the 2024 redesign: long, scenic, and far more demanding than the par number suggests.
