About this course
Texas Army Trail is the long, open test at Cypress's Bud Hadfield Park — 18 holes at par 58 across 6,688 feet, with long distance holes that demand accuracy more than raw power. Chuck Haney's 2011 design has alternate pins on eight holes to keep it fresh.
Free to play with concrete tees and Mach 7 baskets, and very cart friendly. The open fairways make every drive visible and every mistake obvious — a great course for learning to throw long and straight.

Hole 9 is the longest at Texas Army Trail at 562 feet — a par 4 that captures the course's whole identity: long, open, and demanding accuracy over power. A big placed drive, a clean approach, and you've earned a birdie look on the most talked-about hole in Cypress.
